摘要:本文介绍了一个结合增强现实、惯性导航和力反馈技术的体验平台。该平台在功能上以实现人手的握力感为基础,构建了一个可操作的增强现实环境。在硬件上,本平台充分利用基于Intel(R) Atom(TM) 处理器的嵌入式平台的多媒体处理能力,将其作为数据处理的核心单元,配合为此平台专门研制的具备全方位数据采集功能的外骨骼式力反馈机构和局部外围电路,保障了平台稳定流畅的运行;在软件上,以捷联导航系统算法、基于视觉的三维空间注册算法等为基础,高效地实现了虚拟装配、体感游戏和具有触感桌面应用等功能。相比市面上现有的类似系统,具有成本低、用户体验性好、功耗低等优点,为将来实现消费级的可移动增强现实系统铺垫了一定基础。

Abstract:The paper introduces a new experience platform which is based on the combination of the augmented reality technology,strapdown inertial navigating system and force-feedback technology. It builds an operational augmented-reality environment. On the hardware aspect,the platform uses the Intel Menlow embedded platform as the central data handling units and fully exerts its powerful ability to handle multimedia data. The platform contains a Force-back exoskeleton attached with local peripheral circuits which can collect and process the comprehensive data of the tester's hand. On the software aspect,the platform based on the strapdown navigation algorithm and the three-dimensional registration algorithm can effectively realize the feature including virtual assembly, and experience games or movable desktop with feeling of grip.Compared with some existing similar system,this system has the advantages of low cost,good experience and low power consumption. These advantages will lay a foundation for future implementation of portable augmented-reality embedded product.
