Description 


The ZC5069positive hot swap controller providesintelli gent control of the power supply connectionsduring in sertion and removal of circuit cards from alive system backplane or other hot power sources.Th e ZCC5069provides in-rush current control to limitsyste m voltage droop and transients. The current limitand pow er dissipation in the external series pass N-Channel MOSFET are programmable, ensuringoper ation within the Safe Operating Area (SOA). The POWER GOOD output indicates when the outputvolta ge is within 1.25 V of the input voltage. The inputundervolt age and overvoltage lockout levels andhysteresis ar e programmable, as well as the initialinsertion delay ti me and fault detection time. TheZCC5069-1 latches of f after a fault detection, while theZCC5069-2 automaticall y restarts at a fixed duty cycle.ZCC5069is available in a 1 0-pin VSSOP packag
