On the wire sequence of RJ45 socket

UTP network cable is composed of a certain length of twisted pair and RJ45 crystal head. The twisted pair is divided into 8 wires of different colors and twisted together in 4 pairs. The function of twisted pair is to reduce the influence of electromagnetic radiation and external electromagnetic interference as much as possible.

The RJ45 crystal head is connected to the RJ45 socket of network equipment such as network card or hub. Accordingly, RJ45 plug base is also divided into three or five types of electrical characteristics. RJ45 crystal head is composed of metal sheet and plastic. There are 8 concave monks at the front end of RJ45 crystal joint required for making network cable, which is referred to as "Se" (position).

There are 8 metal contacts in the groove, referred to as "8C" (contact), so the industry has another name of "8p8c". Special attention should be paid to the RJ45 crystal head pin number. When the metal sheet faces us, the pin number from left to right is 1 ~ 8. The number is more important for network connection. If there is a wrong connection, it may damage the RJ45 socket.
